Georgina Rodriguez solidified her position as WAG royalty last weekend after wedding her beau of 10 years, Cristiano Ronaldo, in an intimate ceremony in their Portuguese home – but how does the mother of six stay so glamorous? We take a look at the workout habits the entrepreneurial icon swears by

With an empire built from humble beginnings, a close family unit and a love story for the ages, it’s unsurprising that Georgina Rodriguez is no stranger to hard work – and how she maintains her physique is no different.
“It’s a really well-rounded approach,” says personal trainer Ian Northcott, founder of Mercian Fitness. “For most people, the best routine is one that combines strength, cardiovascular fitness and mobility, while remaining enjoyable enough to stick with over the long term.”
But it’s not just her jet-setting lifestyle, luxury wardrobe and coveted red carpet appearances that make her a woman to watch – it’s the way she blends her active lifestyle with work, family and friends that makes her an icon of the fitness world.
So how does a businesswoman who juggles being a model, mother, and wife stay dedicated to her routine?
How to work out like Georgina Rodriguez
Despite her commitment to her workouts, Georgina’s approach to maintaining her appearance is a well-balanced one – and it’s filled with self-acceptance.
In an Instagram caption posted earlier this month, the mother of six wrote that “a person’s worth can never depend on their physical appearance or the opinions of strangers”.
“My body will change, as all women’s bodies do. And I hope it continues to do so for many years, because that will mean I’m still alive.”
Spin with ankle weights
A workout tweak she has recently added to her indoor cycling sessions is wearing ankle weights – which can make an already demanding cardio workout feel even tougher.
Hill sprints
Georgina frequently tackles hill sprints – a simple adaptation to a treadmill exercise that dramatically increases the intensity of a run.
A fan of the treadmill workout, the power couple have even admitted to keeping a 15-year-old treadmill from their time in Madrid, as it was the exact equipment Ronaldo trained on when they first met (although it’s now unsafe to actually use).
Weighted kickbacks
For lower-body strength, Georgina has shared videos of her workouts that include weighted glute kickbacks – a killer for those curves.
Pilates and yoga
Pilates and yoga have become staple exercises among athletes and celebrities alike, and Georgina is no exception. She also uses her yoga sessions to help balance her more intense training sessions.
Stretching in the sauna
Alongside weight training, cardio and a healthy bit of bodyweight work, recovery is just as important to Georgina, having shared videos stretching in the sauna after a session.
Nutrition
Georgina is a proud foodie, having shared in her Netflix documentary I am Georgina her love for Iberian foods in particular – even cooking her viral tortilla de patatas recipe in the kitchen!
And despite not sharing the ins and outs of her diet, one thing that’s clearly important for her nutrition is the range of foods she eats (and not feeling guilty about a treat either).
She often shares pictures of her food on Instagram, ranging from fried eggs, beef fillets, and sausages to fresh strawberries and cottage cheese (hardly a nutritionists dream, but proving that her routine is entirely her own!).

Family first
Despite her commitment to the world of fitness – founding her own activewear and lifestyle brand, Mimoa, as well as being the face of Los Angeles-based activewear brand, Alo Yoga – the most important aspect of Georgina’s life is her role as a mother.
She often shares how active her family are on holiday, taking up watersports like jet skiing and paddleboarding in the sea, as well as playing golf and tennis at luxury resorts. Not only does this keep her attitude towards health and fitness an entirely positive one, but it gives her the opportunity to show her children what a healthy relationship with an active lifestyle can achieve – and it’s about more than keeping up appearances.
“Every year my body makes the news again. And then I wonder — where is the standard? Who decides what the ‘right’ body is? Do we really still think happiness has a size?” she wrote on Instagram last month.
“I love my curves. I love the freedom to live in the body I choose, in the body that supports me, that’s allowed me to embrace, create life, fall and get back up. A body that deserves respect, love and gratitude in all its versions.”
