Run United This Summer By Completing The Solo 10K Challenge.

The ASICS London 10K has launched a brand new, free virtual race to motivate runners of all ages and abilities across the country to stay active this summer.

Every summer, thousands of runners unite at the ASICS London 10K to celebrate the sport of running with live bands and DJs on route, cheering fans, and post-race festivities in central London. Given the current restrictions on mass gatherings and the social distancing measures which are likely to be in place for some time, race organisers Virgin Sport took the difficult decision to postpone the race which was due to take place on Sunday 5 July to the summer of 2021.

Runners are now invited to participate in the Virtual ASICS London 10K race. Anyone can register for the free solo challenge, regardless of whether they are registered for the ASICS London 10K. Registration will be live for a limited time from 16th June to 31st July and is free of charge (online registration is required).

To complete the challenge, participants must run a 10K distance and upload their results to the virtual race leaderboard. Results must be uploaded by 7th August to be eligible for a prize in one of seven age group categories for both male and female competitors.

All participants will receive a printable race bib, an exclusive digital goody bag and access to the official leaderboard. Participants may choose to upgrade their entry for £10 (including postage) to receive a limited edition ASICS London 10K engraved NOTCH bracelet and physical goody bag.

The Virtual ASICS London 10K is a solo running challenge benefiting ASICS London 10K charity partners.
