The HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro’s watch glass incorporates sapphire glass, with a Mohs hardness of 8 – a high level of hardness and water resistance for a smartwatch.
Thanks to the comprehensive improvement of the waterproof interface and the waterproof ability of the device, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro has a 40-meter diving-level waterproof ability – enough to support the highest level of PADI/SSI/AIDA diving student certification.
The perfect combination of aerospace-grade TC4 titanium alloy and ceramics reduces the weight of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro 42mm by 14.5%, reducing the thickness to 0.9mm thin. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series begins a new chapter in Health and Fitness tracking technology with the new HUAWEI TruSense System, monitoring health and fitness data through an upgraded hardware at more accurate, fast, and comprehensive levels.
This is owed to the watch’s adoption of three major technologies: the multi-region optical path design, multi-spacing optical path architecture and ultra-opaque glass processing. This has helped improve, in particular, heartrate monitoring accuracy which is now within 5 bpm, even during heart-raising exercises like HIIT, outdoor interval running, and skipping.
Leading Health Management
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro smartwatches (42mm and 46mm) each feature an electrode-built ECG button, allowing for ECG readings anytime and anywhere.
With a wide variety of sports and health tracking features powered by HUAWEI TruSense System, users can also obtain a breakdown of their health status on the HUAWEI Health App – from sleep cycle trends to exercise activity levels, the new and improved Health Summary feature captures a broader range of health data.
