Help support life-saving research and life-changing support

Every 9 minutes, someone hears the words “you have breast cancer”. Around 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed each year. Breast Cancer Now has a bold vision that by 2050 everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live and live well.

Breast Cancer Now funds cutting-edge research into preventing breast cancer, saving lives, and help people to live well with and beyond the disease. To continue doing this, support from fundraisers is vital.

Why your support matters

In 2025 alone, Breast Cancer Now events raised over £3 million, which could fund over 100 days of research at the Toby Robins Research Centre. It’s home to around 100 researchers across 14 teams. They’re all working to find new ways to treat breast cancer, and stop the disease from taking lives.

This year, the charity hopes to raise even more vital funds so that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live and live well

Do something huge in 2026. Sign up for a charity event now and walk, run, swim or skydive your way to a more active year – while helping to change the future of breast cancer.

Hear from Breast Cancer Now’s fundraisers

“I was so glad to be able to raise money for Breast Cancer Now in a way that caught people’s eye and made them think about the impact cancer might have on a person. Doing something out of the ordinary after having cancer makes people see that treatment, and research into better treatment, can make cancer a small blip in your life, rather than the end of it.” – Joanna, who trekked across the Sahara Desert to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

“Running has helped me recover and kept me focused through the dark days. It saved my life both, mentally and physically. I believe it helped me recover from both my surgeries and kept radiotherapy symptoms at bay. I do feel I have the strength to take on anything now.” – Louise, who had had a double mastectomy and now runs topless to raise awareness.

Fundraising and training support

Whether you’re already signed up or you’re looking for a space in an event, Breast Cancer Now is on hand to help. With places available in some of the world’s most iconic sporting events, whatever your motivation – whether you’re taking part for a loved one or you’re looking for a challenge to get fitter – Breast Cancer Now is here to support you.

Everyone who signs up for an event will receive useful fundraising materials, training tips, support from a dedicated team member and a certificate of thanks for your amazing fundraising efforts.

Depending on what event you’re signed up for, you’ll also receive a Breast Cancer Now running vest, t-shirt or swim cap!
