The ASICS London 10K is a perfect summertime celebration of running to keep you motivated all the way through the winter months, whether you are looking to set a new personal fitness goal for 2021 or you fell in love with running for the first time during the lockdown.
The fast-paced, flat 10km route takes runners on a tour through the best of London’s Westminster, racing past the Capital’s most iconic and historical landmarks such as Big Ben, the London Eye and River Thames. Join the festivities with live music, DJs and entertainment at every kilometre on course.
A safe race experience
Race organisers LimeLight Sports Club announced that they are committed to delivering a safe and COVID-secure race day experience which may include a range of measures and alterations, including social distancing, staggered arrival times, pre-event health questionnaires and other safety precautions.
They also unveiled a new COVID-guarantee which promises runners that their ticket will be deferred to a new event date and/or format free of charge if they are required to change due to Covid-19. Runners who were registered to take part in the postponed 2020 event are now invited to claim their place which was automatically deferred to the 2021 race edition.
The ASICS London 10K (formerly named the British 10K) is central London’s most iconic landmark run, with a twist. Every summertime thousands of runners descend on the capital to celebrate the sport of running in the ultimate London street party. The ASICS London 10K is the fastest way to tour central London’s famous landmarks from Piccadilly to Whitehall with a route that races past Regent Street, Trafalgar Square, the Embankment, Westminster Bridge and Westminster Abbey. With live bands and DJs at every kilometre, and cheering fans lining the city’s streets, this 10K is the perfect starter distance and a great challenge for seasoned runners too. The race was founded in the year 2000 and has been fully operated and owned by LimeLight Sports Club since September 2020. In partnership with ASICS, runners will be supported throughout their training period and 10K route with the most innovative technology and products in the marketplace.
Claim your place
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 20th edition of the ASICS London 10K was postponed to 2021. Runners who were registered to take part in the 2020 event are now invited to claim their place which was automatically deferred to the 2021 race edition.
Early bird tickets cost £45 plus booking fee. All participants will receive an exclusive finisher tee and goody bag. Event and ticket information can be found on the LimeLight website.
